2025 SWNE Big Give Reaches Record Levels

The 2025 Southwest Nebraska Big Give is one for the record books.

For the first time in the event's 10 year history, the total surpassed the $400,000 mark with more than $410,000 in donations from individuals and organizations, including sponsorship funds.

Additionally, the number of donations passed the 1,000 mark with more than 1,200 individual donations given to the Big Give.

Board Roles and Responsibility Training Sessions Scheduled

To help McCook and Southwest Nebraska non-profits and committees develop strong boards, MCFF is hosting a "Board Roles and Responsibility Training" event at McCook Community College's East Campus, over three sessions: Monday, Jan. 12, 1-4 p.m. or 5-8 p.m. or Tuesday, Jan. 13, 8-11 a.m.

Hosted by Mission Matters, there is no charge but RSVPs are requested because seating is limited to 25 at each session. 

Bonus: If at least three members from an organization attend the event (does not need be same session), the non-profit will go into a drawing for a $500 mini-grant from MCFF.
