Community Connection Column:
Civic Duty to be Engaged in
Your Community

Each week, MCFF highlights what is going on in our community, how to get involved or ways to show your support...and make McCook an even better place to call home.

This week: While many people shun from being involved in politics, each of us has a duty and responsibility to be involved in the civics of our community.

We need to be part of the election process; we need to know when the city council is working on a budget; we need to volunteer to clean up our neighborhoods...because we are part of a community.

Ultimately, we each have a civic duty to be involved in shaping the future of our hometowns.
