McCook Volunteer of the Month Starts Second Year

Every month, the McCook Philanthropy Council recognizes a volunteer working in the community. While we know the volunteers are not working for recognition or accolades, we realize the importance of bringing awareness to those doing volunteer work in the community.

The Volunteer of the Month award also highlights the organizations working day-in, day-out in McCook and Red Willow County.

Community Connection: McCook Swim Season is One for the Record Books

Each week, MCFF highlights what is going on in our community, how to get involved or ways to show your support...and make McCook an even better place to call home. This week:

The McCook YMCA pool has been under renovations for the past year, which caused the McCook swim teams to find practice pools more than an hour way.

While there were a lot of highs and lows throughout the 25-26 season, the swimmers, coaches and families hopefully learned more over the course of the season.
