THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT ON THE SEHNERT CHALLENGE
In less than a year, MCFF reached its goal of $400,000 in pledges toward the Sehnert Challenge, which is focusing on arts, culture and community in McCook. We would like to thank our donors who supported the Sehnert Challenge and helped MCFF reach its' goal, thanks to our generous community. McCook Community Foundation Fund is seeking a college-aged summer hometown intern, who will be creating content to tell McCook’s story. This is an opportunity for a McCook or Southwest Nebraska college student to return home for the summer for a paid summer internship program through MCFF.
Using video, audio and written pieces, the intern will help tell the stories which make McCook unique, which explains McCook’s history, which shares McCook’s future. Those videos will be posted on websites throughout the community and used to capture the essence of McCook before those stories are lost to time. The intern will be working side by side with the McCook’s Fund Advisory Committee throughout the summer.
Interested applicants should send a cover letter and resume to either mcffund@gmail.com or MCFF, PO Box 525, McCook NE 69001.
Interviews for the internship will be as soon as an application is received with the position open until it is filled, but interested candidates should apply by March 31. For more information about the internship, please contact Ronda Graff at 308-340-3412.
