Q.  What is the best thing about living in your community?

A. The best part of McCook is being near my family and friends.

Q. Through your time, what changes have you seen benefit McCook/SW NE?

A. Just a few changes to McCook during my time have been the construction of a new hospital, a full-service YMCA, an 18-hole championship course, a modern baseball/softball complex, the addition of Parker Hannifin and Valmont Industries and the Graff Event Center at McCook Community College.

Q. What would you tell someone who is thinking about returning to McCook/SW NE?

A. I would tell someone thinking about moving to McCook or a newcomer to the area that it is a safe community for raising a family with a lot of opportunity for entrepreneurship. Plus, we have a great school system.

Q. What excites you when you think about the future of your community?

A. I’m excited about our future because we are building a culture of giving to develop endowments that will benefit many generations to come.

Q. How would you describe your experience serving on your local affiliated fund?

A. During my time on the affiliated fund, I’ve had the privilege of meeting and networking with many other Fund Advisory Committee members from other community.
