Q. Why did you join YCR?

A. I want to make an impact on our youths' involvement in the community.

Q. Why is it important to have an organization like YCR?

A. I think it is important, because it helps make the community better for not only us now, but hopefully for our future kids.

Q. What kind of impact do you want to leave in your school?

A. I want to leave an impact on our school that will encourage my classmates to come back to McCook to raise their kids.

Q. What is the best thing about living in McCook?

A. The best part about living in McCook is being able to see how much is already good and seeing the potential for future growth.

Q. What is your favorite activity or event in McCook?

A. My favorite event I have been to in McCook is Heritage days. I love how people are able to showcase what they have been doing and that the little kids get to have fun too by collecting candy. It is an event where everyone in town has a good time.

Q. What exites you about the future of McCook?

A. What excited me the most about the future of the community is seeing how it will affect the relationships we have with other people. A community doesn’t work without people working together and with more events and growth we can strengthen the community and our relationship with people we don’t talk with every day.

Q. What do you hope to accomplish during your time with YCR?

A. I hope to accomplish organizing more events for the community as a whole while being part of YCR.This year so far I’m involved in multiple activities, most being student council, YCR, cross country, class officers and I’m the treasurer. Later this year I plan on participating in basketball and track.
