After a 10-year hiatus, the McCook Holiday Home Tours are returning for 2025. On Dec. 13 and 14, six downtown upstairs apartments will be open to the public for tours during the holiday season during two events.

The Saturday, Dec. 13 event includes a progressive dinner as part of the tour from 5-8 p.m. At each apartment, one course of the evening meal, along with drinks, will be provided to participants. Organizers encourage groups of friends to get together for the evening or for couples to attend for a date night.

The tour will start and end at the Pour Farm, 416 Norris in McCook. The cost is $50 per person and tickets must be pre-purchased.

The tours continue on Sunday, Dec. 14 during the McCook Chamber’s Noel on Norris’ afternoon festivities. From 1-4 p.m., the downtown apartments will be available for tours on a come-and-go basis with holiday goodies at each stop. Tickets are $20 each and can be pre-purchased or bought Sunday at the Keystone Business Center.

Tickets for both the progressive dinner on Dec. 13 and the come-and-go tours on Dec. 14 can be purchased at the McCook Chamber website under the Noel on Norris section.

A note about the tours: these are upstairs apartments, which means a lot of stairs and the homes are not handi-cap accessible.

The Holiday Home Tours are a fund-raiser for Beautify McCook, the volunteer organization which coordinates the downtown flowering planters in the summer and the skyline holiday lights in the winter. Beautify McCook is part of the McCook Community Foundation Fund, an affiliate of the Nebraska Community Foundation.

For more information about the tours, visit MCFF’s website, mccookfoundation.org or call or text 308-340-3412.
